Leading the team to inspire and teach the children in thier care. This is done through a balance of In the moment planning, play and learning through the core areas of provision. We make sure that through observation, assessment and planning we meet our children's individual needs and aspire to their next steps of learning.
Amie has undetaken Makaton Training level 1-4 and supports other staff within the setting to use signing when story telling and singing. The use of Makaton with children in this age groups helps them through difficult times with communication reducing frustration and behavioural issues.
