From September 2021, Jigsaws is promoting good oral health in line with the EYFS Curriculum. Oral health has been included in the curriculum with the intention that promoting good oral health from the earliest age will form good oral health habits for life. Tooth decay is avoidable but it is a serious issue among young children.
Children at Jigsaws will be encouraged after meals to clean their teeth at the setting, children will have their own individually named toothbrushes which will be sterilised after each use.
Our contract forms going forward will contain information about this scheme but at the moment we are requesting your approval to go ahead and include your child. Letters will be sent out to parents soon with details.
